This Workshop, aims to stimulate and strengthen the research focused on housing and experimental solutions designed and prepared by graduate students.
Housing and Urban planning, as disciplines, are opened more and more to the social context and the study of forms of living, related to physical contexts and social structure: aging, unemployment, homelessness, etc. With the increase of urban complexity, and the consequent problems that are emerged, the concept of urban regeneration must be opened to an economic, social, cultural and environmental impact and interpretation of the quality of activities.
PhD students, in architecture, urban planning or urban sociology , are invited to present their work in progress or already completed, which address HOUSING, URBAN PLANNING, REGENERATION AND TRANSFORMATIONS at global, regional and local perspectives
